This was a very unique and amazing experience. The natural River system was something so interesting and fun to explore. The people were friendly and efficient. Everything was clean and organized. We enjoyed all of the zoo and aquarium. One improvement would be a paper map as we did not have service. The show is a must see.

THE SPEED BOAT WAS THE BEST!
Great crew on the adventure boat, thank you captain for an unforgettable experience.
This place has got everything you need to see in Mexico. It’s amazing however we feel like the price (100 pounds each without food and any extra activity) is a bit too much.
Also, they keep turtles and dolphins in such small pools it breaks your heart to see it.

The park itself was fun but the restaurant beside the beach was TERRIBLE!! Our package came with 1 free beer per person and I had to ask 7 (yes seven!) times for 1 beer as the server kept saying 2 mins 2 mins… was over an hour after arrival till I got a beer….. the park and activities were fun though!

Then the evening show….
Absolutely awful. It’s completely unnecessary to use dogs & horses in the show. I cannot see the significance of using a dog or a horse in the show. The animals were absolutely petrified and being pulled onto a stage with extremely loud music, crowd of over 1000 cheering and people dressed up is extremely distressing to the dogs and the horses.
Completely unnecessary and if anyone has any compassion for these animals, you would not attend. It was actually distressing as a viewer to watch how the dogs in particular were being terrorised on stage.
It doesn’t take a genius to realise that these dogs are being subject to borderline abuse.

Xcaret, please reconsider the use of canine and equines in the show. It is unnecessary and cruel.

We loved how colorful everything was. We enjoyed the under ground river adventure and all the displays throughout the park. The food was very good. There were new displays in which we enjoyed as well. I would definitely recommend visiting Xcaret.

I stayed next door at the Occidental Hotel.

There are some good things to see here (aviary, river etc) but I found it quite underwhelming.

It’s very smelly (sewage) but to be expected I suppose with so many 1000’s of ‘wet’ people using the facilities each day.

The main activities (sharks, dolphins etc) you pay extra £££ for.

The scenic tower at the entrance is good for views over the area.
