The only thing we enjoyed: the underground rivers, aviraium, and the SHOW. The show was the best thing. The park was super crowded and not everyone was wearing a mask. I am not sure this park was following the protocols. All activities were crowded. They asked you to keep your distance but at the same time they put as many people as possible to watch the show at the end of the day. They were super long lines to enter the restaurants at lunchtime. We had to wait until close to 4pm to be able to have lunch. I am not sure they were equipped to have this many people in the park at the same time. We ate at El Manglar. The waiter charged us $5 for a water bottle which we later found was $3.75 and asked us for a tip. I realized he was overcharging me for the water so I did not tip him well and he complained. We will not come again.

I didn’t know what to expect when we went to Xcaret but I was so glad that we did. We saw Blue Morpho Butterflies! I never thought I would see them in real life but in the butterfly garden we were able to feed them. We also experienced some aspects of Mexican culture that were fascinating. It was wonderful!

My fiance and I just returned from 8 days in PDC and spent one of them at XCaret Park. We got the Plus admission which got us rental lockers and an included lunch, as well as one cerveza. I thought everything was beautiful, well kept, clean, and organized. The buffet was DELICIOUS and service all throughout the day was incredible. Lots of walking though, and the evening show was pretty crowded even with COVID. Overall great time, definitely recommend the evening show and was one of the more unique ones I’ve seen. Would definitely go try another park next time!

This place is huge, there’s no way you can see everything in one go and you shouldn’t try. Be prepared to pay for the experience extra. Since the entrance is basically free for guests of their hotel, most of the big attractions are extra costs. I paid for it happily. They were really worth it for my partner and I. That being said, your mileage may vary. I took a tour there I got through the BestDay people, they were linked through Costco travel. There was an extra plus package that included a locker and food/drinks. I got sick because of a stomach condition and I hobbled over to the infirmary. I was very surprised at the level of service provided there. It was better than back home. The doctor was very kind and the medication he gave me helped me. I was just so very grateful. And on top of that, because we missed the show at night, they gave us a coupon to come back to see the show at any point in time within a year if we visit again for free. That was just lovely gesture of them after treating me for free at their clinic. Amazing. The photo package is SOOOOO WORTH IT! If you want the memories, I recommend. You dont have to carry a phone really if you get the photo package.

XCARET Park.
This was Not a Guided Tour, the bus picked us up at hotel, dropped us off at Park and we were on our own!
Speedboat, “Adrenalina”, we arrived 45 minutes prior to our 3:15pm booking, only to find out, that XCARET Hotel never booked us for this and of course, like the previous day, they too, were fully booked. My friend refused to let it go and they eventually let us on.
Walking back from “Adrenalina” activity, I saw the “Sea Trek” activity, which I decided to try, because I hate snorkeling (always end up with water in my mouth and fogged up mask)and I’m not sure scuba would be an option for me, so this was a great alternative. I was alone, as in the only one person with both people assisting me, one with Stingrays & Camera, the other helping me walk under the water and also taking photos, I loved it! Sea Trek with Stingrays, was great!
NOTE: Cozumel also offers Sea-Doo & Stingrays tour, which I did in August 2019 and it was amazing! I’ve been with Stingrays twice and I love them!
Due to our dilemma via Andrenalina, the manager gave us a couple of seats for 7pm show, as a gesture of good will. The show was excellent!
Park is Immense, Employees know where they work, not the locations of other activities. Signs are Useless, until you’re in the vicinity of your activity. No basic transportation throughout Park, perhaps add in a golf cart or two, to assist those with disabilities, elderly…to make it more of an ALL INCLUSIVE park.
