Bad experience with Bad service! Too expensive to get the worse attendance and treatment. Low quantity of information board… easy to get yourself lost and when you ask a direction to any staff they don’t treat you politely (mainly at snorking area). I don’t recommend Xcaret. And if you really want to see the poor dolphins…try to find some where else ( isla mujeres) maybe. Don’t lose your time and money there.

The aquarium was amazing with the giant sea turtles, sharks, dolphins and marine life.

The butterfly’s where great as well.

It was a great day seeing so much stuff and at the end of the day we sat an watched pelicans dive for food in the bay.

Lots of things to see and do, be ready for a lot of walking!

We booked this through TUI and the bus arrived on time (the only one time this happened during our Mexico stay – high five!) It took a long time to arrive as it collected from other hotels and made a drop off at another of their sites. OK I guess, had I have done some research I would have realised that it was 2.5 miles away from our hotel so could have a found cheaper and quicker way.

Inside we asked for a map but they don’t have these (I found one three days later in a shopping centre so they clearly keep these as bait)

We did find the floor markings useful and these helped us find our way, though more signage would also be nice. That said I still get lost in Alton Towers and i’ve been there 23,000 times.

The animals and their enclosures were all well kept and we found the day went quickly.

The underground river was great, though I wish we have saved this until later in the day due to crowding and annoying humans.

The show on the evening was fantastic, a true highlight of our visit to Mexico overall. We had been given the wrong start time for this by our bus tour guide person but luckily we got there early to check out the place beforehand.

A lot of extras must be paid for, but as I did little research beforehand I was not too disappointed as I did not know they were there.

Sadly the food for vegetarians is lacking and needs looking at, our tickets were not cheap and we did ask the waiter before we queued at the Mexican restaurant if we would have ample choice. He said yes, but either lied or just said yes because it was easier – like when you laugh at what a friend says in a noisy nightclub.

Thought we got robbed on entry as the bloke took our tickets and helped loads of other people after us before returning with ours.
Some of the attractions aren’t, I don’t include toilets, lockers, changing rooms, eateries as attractions.
Couldn’t use the kids area as an adult.
14/62 attractions starting at $50pp weren’t included in the entry ticket.
Walked for ages, yet a walk was also an attraction.
The animal enclosures were tiny and didn’t take long to get round.
Wear a t-shirt for the underground cenote swim as the life jackets really cut into you. Counted as 4 attractions.
Most the staff were talking amongst themselves and made you feel like you were interrupting if asking for guidance.
Counted 20 gift shops not including concession stands, proper tourist trap.
Just don’t bother.

Everything we expected and a bit more.

Show at night really improved since the last time we were there.

A little bit of everything in a really cool set up.

Definitely recommended.
