There were no clear instructions on where to start, or what to take. We went all the way down the river without a towel or our phones, so we had no pictures since we had no phone.
The person that checked us in, closed right before we got to the window, and wouldn’t help us, no sent us to another line. He finally decided to help us after he saw we just stood in a line.
The price is way to high for the experience. Should be around $75.

We were fortunate and scheduled Xcaret at the beginning of our week-long trip. It has fish, birds, dolphins and many other animals. Bring your swimsuit for the river float which was amazing. We had fun trying out the snorkeling as well. BUT, make sure to stay for the evening special event that shows the cultural evolution of the Mayan through time. It was an amazing show. We stayed in Playa and took a taxi out to Xcaret and it worked fine.

Park was amazing, especially the butterfly & aviary sections, but wanted to highlight Viviana who gave us an amazing tour of the Hacienda! She was super knowledgeable. I can’t remember the names of the people in the wine cave tasting, but they were also amazing!

A beautiful park with so much to do. I would recommend taking two days to visit if you plan on doing any activities, Our family swam with the dolphins and sharks and swam the underground river. They enjoyed it all – the smiles on their faces attested to that. We are at the Mexican cafe and enjoyed the authentic meal. So much to see – love the aviary and butterfly house. Wear good walking shoes.
