Great time!! Went down to the caves and explored wildlife, ziplined through the forest, drove ATVs. Amazing time

Where to begin ?

1 – The entire place is designed to make as much money out of you as possible. Even on a plus ticket we found that at every turn someone wanted pesos out of you. Exit through the gift shop at every conceivable opportunity- it’s tiresome.

2 – The animals are all miserable and the enclosures tiny. I saw people throwing things at the deer to try and get their attention for a photo. Horrendous behaviour. Jaguar clearly distressed and pacing to get off island. Dolphin area ridiculously small. If you love animals then this is NOT the place to go.

3 – The underground river was disgusting and very, very overcrowded. Saw no one at all enforce the biodegradable sunscreen / repellent rule. Thin layer of scum on the surface of the water. Howling children shouting at the top of their voices through the quiet spa area. Rubbish floating in the water. Nothing to see down there but rocks, nothing natural or wondrous about it whatsoever. Felt like floating through a sewer. After going to a lesser known cenote earlier in the week 2 hours out into the jungle the difference in environmental protection was plain to see.

4 – Snorkelling was atrocious. Nothing to see at all except other people’s feet. In my opinion dangerously overcrowded.

5 – Carribean buffet was repulsive. Food all over the floor. Children helping themselves to food without using the tongs and putting their hands in the meats. Saw an instance of tongs used for fish to pick up beef etc. Quality of food was poor, as was service for drinks and table.

6 – ‘Rest areas’ consistently overcrowded, loud and smelly. Nothing at all restful about them. Uncomfortable deck chairs and overpriced drinks. Paid almost 15 quid for a small can of beer and a watered down margarita.

7 – It rained and the toilet block near the plus area flooded with urine.

8 – Mayan ruins. You built a water park over a heritage site. Says it all about the place really.

Didn’t bother staying for the grand show as we were so disappointed with the rest of the park. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

I have way too much to say about this place. It was a magical experience, i loved the caves, the atmosphere & theme. im Mexican and learned about our heritage in more a more deep & fun way. Im planning my next trip as we speak. The buffet & drinks were delicious from la cocina.

Most of park routes are boring. The intresting activities are extra payments.
,The only rout worth to do is the white
which is the Mayan culture route.

What a fun day of play in Mexico!! Lots of outdoor activities. Nice lunch buffet.
And the nighttime show? Just amazing. Spend the extra $$ for dinner and show option. You won’t b disappointed
