This was the only park offered by our tour rep back in the UK for opted to go for the plus ticket which gave you free lockers and lunch included.
The park itself was beautiful. We did the rivers Blue one first through the caves then the green one which was far better. It had bat caves, darker caves etc. You can leave your valuables in a locker and take some essentials in a bag they lock and open back up in front of you at the end so you don’t have to go all the way back down to the lockers.
All of the extra activity’s are at a cost.. probably around £45/£50 there were animals etc to see for free but overall I think it was far too overpriced for what we used it for.
The lunch was good, but no snacks or drinks included (other than with lunch) where when looking at other parks you seem to get a lot more for your money.
I’m sure for families it’s the right park but for a couple, book a different one when you get to Mexico, or if you’re set on this one.. book it in Mexico as we paid £268 for 2 people and we could have gone for cheaper with the hotel tour lady.
One regret I have is not getting the photo pass. It was $50 but for unlimited photos and looked like so much fun when everyone was getting them done. Not sure of their quality but I wish I’d have done that.
The snorkelling area was small and not too much to see as the water quality was terrible from the amount of people and perhaps non biodegradable sunscreen as looked quite oily.
overall, really beautiful and the river was fab. Wish I’d had time to do all three rather than walking round looking for more free activities. Wish I’d gone to Xplor or Xel ha instead.

I would highly recommend getting the plus ticket if you visit the park because of the included meal and lockers. We definitely used both. The underground rivers were amazing and went through just about the entire park. For those looking for excitement and adventure, try on of the other parks like Xavage or Xplor. This park is more about heritage and culture. That said,.the cultural experience of the park was amazing. Lots of ruins, villages, and buildings to explore. The Mexican Show at 7pm is something that you shouldn’t miss. Great park for children and elderly people since there is so.kuch to do, great snorkeling and beach area.

We liked the park. It was nice. It’s better for families who have little kids or are older and do not like to do high adventures. We liked Xplor and Xel-ha better.

Price too expensive. 160 $ pp. transport, lunch and admission included. we paid extra to swim with the diver helmet under the water about $ 70 pp. and another $ 120 approximately to swim with the dolphins. the photos have crazy costs. from 25 $, with various packages. we took 150 $ , 40 photos sent by email but then we discovered that the photos were only 30 because the others were only duplicates. thieves . you can’t do all the Cenote route if you book for attractions. you have to pay so much for everything. the showers are only cold and outdoors. bring a change of clothes for the evening show and some water shoes to walk around. in November it was raining and running wet all around was a torture. bring a waterproof bag with money, a credit card and a document, maybe even a cell phone to avoid having to take their photos.
Enjoy yourselves

We left at 7 am from our resort playa del Carmen. The bus took us to Cancun for transfert and then go back close to our resort to go to yacatan. 5 hours it took to go to Chichen Itza. With kids it was awful. When we book they told us (the best day rep) that it was 1h30 to go and 1h30 to come back. Well it took us again 4 hours at night. We were at our hotel at 9pm. Ridiculous. How is that a fun tour with kids if we stay in the bus for 9hours In total for 5 hours of activities????????? I’ve ask for money back but never heard from them. Never.
