This was our 3rd time going to Xcaret and it is nice to swim in the cenote and caves. But I feel 1 time is good enough, only because it’s the same thing each time. However, we ended up buying the dinner at the show for that evening and it was okay, the server was great, but the food was not worth the price.

We visited recently during a trip to Cancun. We were the first to arrive to the park and the last to leave. We purchased the combo packet with included a lunch buffet, snorkel gear and lockers. Worth the money for sure. If you can, plan to visit for 2 days so you have time to see everything. Go to the underground river first because that fills up fast. And don’t miss the night show at the end – loved every minute of it!!!

You can travel here via taxi from your hotel and purchase the tickets at the entrance. You will save around $16 per person.

Hoping to go back one day. Make sure you take water shoes, a towel, reef friendly sunblock and an extra set of clothes.
