A whole day of great fun. A huge park full of attractions. Transport from the center included in the ticket price.

They simply steal the money from your pocket:

Admission, 145 USD (with some food included).

If you want to touch the dolphins – another 100 USD, but if you want to be only 4 people in the group instead of 10, add another 50 USD, each.

You are not allowed to take photos (nobody tells you this when you book the ticket), in order not to disturb the animals, but you can buy their photos with only 200-300 USD depending on what “package” you “like”.

The “gorgeous” “underground river” is a sewer like water chanel which you are supposed to “have fun” swimming in – included in the price. But if you want the pictures from different spots, add some money.

Other stuff – a joke of snorkeling, couple of turtles, some sharks which you can tap (extra money, of course).

With a small effort, you can spend 1000 USD per person, in just one day of walking at the “sensational (expensive) Xcaret”.

Almost anything else you choose to do with that money, is a much better option.

The park itself was very fun. The zipline got a long line very quickly so we went to the amphibious vehicles first and were just the second people there, so no waiting. There are only a couple places on the course where you drive through a spot with water on the road but it was still fun. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with back pain or who is uncomfortable being jostled around as the ride is pretty rough, so be mindful of that. I thoroughly enjoyed the hammock activity where you swing into the water on a hammock/zipline hybrid and wish we had had another chance to do that. One of the coolest parts was swimming through the cave in an underground river. It was beautiful and you have an option for a longer or shorter swim with many exits throughout. It wasn’t very busy when we went so we didn’t really have to wait for anything. They offered a snack area with free non alcoholic beverages and food throughout the night, and a pretty good buffet with a lot of variety starting at 7:30PM.

However BUYER BEWARE…. If you are staying on Isla Mujeres, they will pick you up at the Ultramar Puerto Juarez ferry point. What they don’t tell you is that there is no way you will be back in time to catch the final ferry at midnight. Luckily we were mindful to ask so we discovered this on the drive to Fuego before we were stranded at the ferry station. Initially the XCaret staff was unconcerned and basically just told us that even though our ticket was supposed to provide roundtrip transportation to the port we would be responsible for a taxi to get back for the last ferry, and that would be at least $100 USD. I was persistent and kept asking for a solution to this problem as nowhere in their paperwork or on their website is there a warning of this issue. The final solution was we had to pay for a taxi from Fuego to XCaret ($10 USD) and leave 2 hours early to make it back for the ferry. There should be some type of notice and transportation for people coming from Isla Mujeres in the future to avoid other people having this same headache.

If there is a place where you can swim, snorkeling,scuba diving, buffet And with perfect show compare to one in las vegas. The price is significant worth it
