We visited this park three times because there was so much to experience. On the first visit, we spent time in the museums and we went Snorkeling. The water was so beautiful. So much to see “under the sea.”

On the second visit, we experienced Sea Trek, which was a unique experience. See the video for this activity on their website. Easy-peasy! Don’t let it intimidate you. It is safe and easy. They have several guides with you underwater to ensure your absolute safety. Thereafter, we walked around the park to see the various beautiful pueblos and elaborate displays. Went Snorkeling again!

On the third visit, we attended the “Spectacular” show in the evening. It lives up to its name. Highly entertaining. All the cast members were talented and impressive.

This park highlighted the beautiful and impressive Mexican culture. I learned about their rich and abundant history, which gave me a renewed and heightened respect for their culture and its lovely people.

We ate at two of the restaurants. Great eats!

It’s worth the investment! It will not disappoint.

Excellent place to visit they have covid safety protocols. When you rent your locker get the bag once you finish your river you will have your bag at the end. Sadly we had a locker and left our things and couldn’t take pictures. It’s a very beautiful place. The Show is a must see you won’t be disappointed.

The activities were fun. We were there on a very slow day (fortunately) so we didn’t have to wait in lines. However, if I had to wait in lines for long periods of time and only got the 5 activities out of it, I probably would’ve been disappointed. So, moral of the story: try to go on a slow day 🙂

Xcaret is a magical place. Do not miss it!

With that said, it is also very big (think Bronx zoo) and has a ton if things to do. It can be a bit overwhelming. We took a group bus from Cancu and it was an almost 16 hour day! Get to bed early the night before you go.

Download the app ahead of time and plan out what you want to see. The lazy river for me was the highlight. I would recommend doing it twice and experiencing both river routes. Tons of things to see and do…too many to mention. Included buffet was actually(surprisingly) pretty good.

The Evening show is 1.5 hours long but very entertaining. Any young athletes will be on the edge of their seats when the tribes compete in ancient games. Very very cool! 😎
