Awesome but too expensive!! The price has gone up since the last time we went. We paid 65 for the PLUS pass. Now it’s 110.00 USD per person for the normal and 150.00 for the PLUS. It’s too much, specially if you have a big family. Dear Xcaret, what happened that you raised your prices that high in a few years.

Xcaret is ran like a well oiled machine. Staff were friendly and the lunch buffet was good, although you are outside in 100 degree weather. The sea turtles were the best part.
With that said, it is way over priced. The cave river was ok. It took all your energy, was very rocky, and way to crowded. The snorkeling was in a very small area with the same small fish you could see in someone’s aquarium. You could barely see the jaguar and puma, never saw any monkeys. The ruins just looked like replicas, not authentic. Lastly, any additional thing you wanted to do would cost you a minimum of $70 per person. It was proposed to me for $150 pp, ended up being $180 after fees and taxes.

Swimming in the underground tunnel and shows with horses and the Mayans at 7 pm are amazing!Shouldn’t be missed!It’s very children friendly and has very nice restaurants to relax!

This place is really amazing. Honestly spend the money and go!

Firstly i did not buy the xcaret plus ticket. And i am glad i didn’t! The only thing you get extra is lockers & snorkels & lunch.
We had our own snorkels with us which were much better than the ones they provided. Lockers are available to rent and you get part of the money back! They were not expensive around 400 pesos and we got 100 pesos back! We only needed 1 locker between the 2 of us. We have had lots of traditional buffet lunches and were starting to get bored so we were hoping there were options to buy food there. And there were many options! We went to a fast food restaurant near the dolphin area. It was really good and great value for money. Besides this you can get hot dogs and nachos and other snacks and huts dotted around the site therefore i would advise saving the money and going for the standard ticket. We saved around 80 usd which is over the price of increasing one to a plus wristband so even though the guide on the bus tried to push us into doing it, dont! And be prepared bring your snorkel and spending money/card.

The park is amazing. We bought one extra excursion which was the underwater sea trek. This came to about 115 gbp for 2 of us. It was really worth the money – was breathtaking. We saw sting rays and a whole variety of amazing fish.
The park itself is filled with attractions, would really recommend seeing the turtles! Theres so much to do and not enough time. Really enjoyed it and would go back again and again. The general tickets are great value for money. Can not recommend enough and will be telling all of my friends and family to go!
