We took boat 17. Javier and the crew were amazing. We had the best time and highly recommended it to everyone.
We took 2 younger children and the crew was great – they even let the kids steer the boat for a bit. 🙂

Great experience! Very well organized, friendly, and accommodating staff. Marlina was our tour guide. I can’t remember the names of the crew members but they were all great!

I wanted to get a picture with the underwater statues, but it was hard to locate the camera guy when we were all halfway underwater, and we were only there for a minute or two, so the missed photo op was disappointing. I also would’ve liked more time on the island. 2 hours seemed like plenty, but if you opt to walk around, then, like us, you probably won’t be able to get around to everything you’d like to see and do. We just had enough time to walk around a bit and buy a few souvenirs before we had to head back. I would’ve liked more time to relax on the beach or check another part of the island out. Shiva and the other guides were very hospitable though and the cook even removed onions for me when making us lunch, which was very appreciated. Shiva was an especially wonderful tour guide and made the trip more fun as she explained our trip, gave us tips about the island, and joked around. She also oh-so-humbly, yet accurately described herself in a fun way. I would definitely recommend this excursion, just be sure to plan ahead as much as possible (and/or get/rent a ride) and express any particular photo ops you’d like before you get to the portion of the trip where you’d like your picture taken. Speaking of, I think the itinerary was: drive, catamaran, snorkel, catamaran while lunch is served, island, catamaran, drive. Also, we only got 5 photos taken, 3 of which were the same, just zoomed in or a different orientation, and the other 2 were practically the same; 1 was just a split second before I managed to throw up the duece. They seemed to realize we didn’t get many good pictures and thus gave us a good deal on the collection, so I can’t complain too much. I attached the best pics of their respective groups to this review. Overall I would definitely recommend this excursion, especially if you’re too tired, sunburned, and/or previously injured like I was to handle the more physically demanding excursions.
