The crew on boat 7 was fantastic. They were very accomdating, friendly and overall excellent hosts. We would definitely recommend booking with Cancun Adventures and will book future tours via them. Thank you to Ruben and the crew on this boat for a great day and a great view of the sun set.

Excellent trip, need more time snorkel time, maybe a place with more sea life, 15 mins is not enough, also not enough time to paddle.

The catamaran, boat crew, drinks, and lunch were great! However, due to the wind, we were unable to snorkel or paddle board. We only had 2 hours to explore the island (which was not very nice at all) and all we wanted was to swim in a crystal clear ocean (our resort in Puerto Morelos had so much seaweed you couldn’t get in the water). By the time we walked and found a beach, we didn’t have much time. The beaches, and entire town, was packed with people. I definitely would not recommend this excursion. I think the company is probably a great company, we were just unlucky with the weather and didn’t care for the island at all.

I am writing because I think this tour is way overpriced for what you get. I have been on several water/snorkeling tours and this one rates in the lower range. You find yourself being hustled through crowds from the time you first arrive at the marina. I did not have a paper copy of my ticket but was able to pull up the PDF and show it. Apparently this was not enough, I was asked to email it. Thank God I was able to use my iPhone, not sure what would have happened otherwise. At the last minute we had been told our boat was in repair, would we mind another premier boat that would have more people (50, we’d originally been booked and paid for to be in a group half the size). No time to book another we were already in Cancun. On the way to the island, we stopped to snorkel but I did not bother once I realized we’d be one of many large groups in the area being schlepped around and having to worry about being separated from the group etc. we arrived on the island and had lunch which was good. We’d been given a general description of how the day would progress but never heard received clear directions Re departure time. We’d opted for the golf cart rental which we’d been told had already been reserved for the group. Upon arrival in town however, we were informed there were none. Had we known, we would have stayed at the beach. We got back to our boat only to discover it had left w/o us and 3-4 other people. Luckily we were able to get on another, only to be instructed that we were all going to have to disembark to go shopping fir 25 minutes. Total mayhem at the terminal as we tried to find the boat to return to Cancun. Combined with the excessively loud music on the boat, this was not a very relaxing cruise. I do have to say though that the staff were very friendly and the food was good. And if you like to drink a lot, then go fir it as it’s included. Much prefer the tour from
Akumal Dive Shop.
