We will depart from the maritime zone of Puerto Juarez towards Isla Mujeres where we will be able to contemplate during the journey up to 5 different shades of the beautiful turquoise sea of the Mexican Caribbean Sea.

Remember that you can bring your own drinks and ice, we have coolers available for you.

Before arriving at the Island we will get off the boat to do the snorkeling activity, you can bring your own snorkeling equipment or we have goggles for you, (snorkel tube not included 5 usd approx).

Once we have finished the snorkeling activity in the reef and part of the MUSA sculptures, we will go to Isla Mujeres.

You will have free time to get to know the island on your own, but first we will take you to the best beach in Mexico, Playa Norte, where we will see part of the marine life very closely with a sea level of just 1 meter.

We will enjoy lunch at the best private beach club in Isla Mujeres, the Ice Bar where you can taste typical regional food in a large buffet (drinks not included).

Now yes, it is time for free time, we suggest you rent a golf cart and visit to take a picture in the tourist letters, or relax on one of the beautiful beaches.

We are ready to return to Cancun again with a nice family atmosphere and music on the boat.

First off we had a terrible experience with A DIFFERENT travel company. We cancelled and decided to booked with Cancun Adventures and our entire trip turned around. The team was exceptional. The driver was timely and respectful made the ride super enjoyable. I forgot his name but he picked us up from our resort Ocean Maya Royale on July 31st at 12:30pm. Then we got to the port boarded immediately. Alan and his staff of 4 (Jose, Martin, Marcos, Eduardo) where unbelievable. The drink service the food the experience amazing! They gave us great tips for the island and made sure we had a good experience. We gave them a great tip. They deserved it. The entire boat enjoyed it the trip.

We were on Boat #7 with Terry as our Tour Captain. The boat ride is fantastic, beautiful views and a great crew!! Definitely worth the time and cost of the tour.

I’ll have some tips written at the end if you decide on taking this tour 🙂

SUMMARY: My mother and I went on this tour two days before we had to leave Cancun and it was a perfect sending away.

DRIVE: We were picked up around 9:00 am from our hotel and were accompanied by another family for our two hour drive to the boat. Our driver was great and we were never worried about our safety. The complimentary water was a plus as well.

BOAT: Once we arrived we were put on our boat pretty quickly but make sure to remember your drivers name because they might ask for it! As for the boat- it was wonderful! We had around 20 people on board so my mom and I never felt crammed and could fully enjoy the experience, the water is STUNNING! The image most people have of Cancun and its perfect waters are completely met and you feel like you’re looking at a Bounty commercial.

SNORKELING: My mom opted out of snorkeling so I went by myself. It was my first time and I was slightly panicked because I didn’t put on my equipment correctly and had to have it fixed when already in the water. But, the crew member who helped me (Hugo) was perfect at calming down and helping me. Once I got into the groove of it he would continue to check on me and make sure I was ok. They also had inner tubes to hold on to when you’re floating and looking at the fish and sea.

CREW: Absolutely amazing! Our captain was wonderful and my mother said he was great at watching the snorkelers and following us since we were following the current. The bartender will make sure you always have a drink in your hand (if you want one) and the lunch was good as well. Hugo was the one who watched out for me and he also gave the optional tour once we got on the island which I recommend taking if you want to hear some of its history.

ISLA MUJERES: Loved it! This tiny island has great waters and can easily be tackled by foot. Definitely recommend going to the beach and taking a dip. The people on the island will try to prompt you into buying their souvenirs but they won’t be aggressive so just say no if you’re not interested. The deeper you go into town you’ll see some street food which Hugo said would have the most authentic Mexican food, we personally didn’t try but it did sound tempting.

TIPS:
1. Wear a TON of sunscreen
2. Bring cash and leave some for tips
3. Pack a sweatshirt for the ride since the air condition is ON
4. Bring a change of clothes after your swim
5. If you want professional photos taken that is offered ($40 for two people)
6. Have fun!

Booked this luxury sailing on the catamaran from Cancun to Isla Mujeres through Amstar and it was the best! Our tour guide, Manuel and his crew were fantastic and fun! I just want to shout them out for an amazing day out at sea, for bartending, and serving delicious lunch. The others were Daniel, Jesus, and Angel. They were the best!! They made you feel safe while out on the water and while snorkeling/swimming in the ocean. Book this sailing and hopefully you get this crew!

Very great day spent on the catamaran sailing in the Caribbean sea.

The bus picked us up at our resort (Secrets Playa Mujeres) at 11am. It was only a 5 minute bus ride to the marina. There, they recommended that we apply our sunscreen and remove our shoes so that the boat isn’t slippery. We got on the boat, and set sail to an area where other catamaran’s were anchored. The fish were beautiful. There was a photographer and she took amazing photos of us snorkeling and diving. There weren’t many corals, so we were able to swim around a bit. We later took the boat and headed to Isla Mujeres. On our way there they provided us with a snack (guacamole, chicken, chips… ) We anchored once again prior to arriving to the island. We were able to take out our paddle boards, jump off the boat, swim in the crystal blue waters. They say that Isla Mujeres has one of the nicest waters in the world. And it was true. We were swimming in 10ft. deep waters. Once we all got onto the boat, we docked at the island. There was a lot for us to do. Shopping (must cheaper than buying stuff from the resort) and cafes. As well, soaking in the sun at there many beaches. We were asked to board the catamaran at 4:20pm. We set sail back to the the mainland. On the way back, the photographer offered us to purchase the bundle of photos (of yourself and the other 30 people on the boat). We bought it and it was worth it (especially the underwater photos). As long as you have your credit card number you should be fine for payment.

It was a great time. This was an excursion that my husband and I did for our honeymoon. Adults only trip.
