Tour began with a pick up from our hotel at 10:15 for a departure at 11:30. Arrived at the dock and were asked to apply sunscreen before boarding as no one is allowed to do so onboard. Our crew welcomed us aboard the spotlessly clean catamaran. We were given a safety briefing at the front of the boat. A bit crowded with 32 passengers on board. Had hoped for a smaller group because once it started to rain, everyone tried to sit in the back where it was covered. Our first stop was for a 20 minute snorkel but it was pouring rain and a bit rough so only 4 people went. Next we were served lunch of ceviche, guacamole with chips, pasta chicken salad and slices of apple and kiwi in small sectioned bento box style servers. Lunch not much to brag about. The crew, however, were wonderful. The bar was open the entire trip and the drinks were excellent. Nice, strong pours and a great variety of options daiquiris, pina coladas, margaritas tequila sunrise, bloody Mary’s, beer, wine, etc. Next stop was off the Point Norte beach for a 20 minute swim. Water was warm and it stopped raining. Final stop was for 3 hours at Isla Mujeres. We rented a golf cart for 2 hours at $15.00US and went to the turtle farm and to the Mayan ruins of Ixtaha. Very cool! Not much else to do there so we were glad we rented the carts. Departed Isla Mujeres at 4:20. Transport back to our hotel.

Traveled with a group of 6 and it was the highlight for me! We stayed at Secrets Capri, so the marina was a bit of a hike to get to (~hour), but once on the catamaran it was worth the travels! Johnny was our driver and he got us to and from safely. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and we lucked out with a beautiful sunny day. The boat stopped for snorkeling and most of our group went out with the guide. Those who did not were able to start drinking aboard (tasty strong drinks). Next the boat went to the north side of the island and we had beautiful views all around us. We then docked and had a few hours to roam the island. Our group split up, some went straight to the north end beach, and others rented a golf cart and drove around the island (highly recommend!). We paid $15/ hr. Went to the Soggy Peso, reminded me of the Mexican version of the Soggy Dollar in the BVI! Back on the boat the drinks were flowing and the staff even let us chose the music! Our staff on boat 12 was the best, esp Reuben & Rene (think that was his name, captain!)! Thanks for an awesome time and memories we will never forget!

Myself and my group or 16 friends had the BEST time. Terry and the crew were SO good to work with and they care about the environment in everything they do. We had a blast and this company is so honest. They provided a ton of information and tips that benefit us our entire trip! You need to choose them for your excursions.

Such a fun trip! Beautiful coastline, amazing staff/crew on the catamaran who were so friendly and provided such great service, and Isla Mujeres! Such a cool island with lots of cute bars and gorgeous beaches that we were able to enjoy for a few hours. We even did a mini walking tour with our tour lead Jorge (SO awesome and not bad to look at either :)) and he got a school of fish to come over to us in the bay and let us feed them! So cool. Highly recommend taking this trip.

We booked from Manuel near Now Jade resort in Puerto Morelos. Excellent service through that process. Picked up the 9 of us including our six year old boy and our 11 year old niece, and 8 and 5 year old nephews at the hotel then taken to Cancun where we boarded the Catamaran #7 with about 21 other people. At first I was worried that it would be crowded on the boat but it didn’t feel crowded once we were on there. We took off and went to snorkel. They asked that only 12 year olds and up snorkeled which is probably a good idea. Had a blast getting to snorkel. I’d say we were out there about 30 or so minutes. Very professional and very safe. Opened the bar after snorkeling plenty to drink, plenty of options both alcoholic and non. The food was served, the ceviche was fantastic and I don’t typically like ceviche. Also had a chicken and pasta portion, and some fruit. After lunch we anchored off the shore in about 10 feet of water and everyone had an opportunity to swim for about 30 minutes. We got to jump off the side of the boat, the kids and adults were having a great time! We got back onto the boat and went to the dock where we got to get off of the boat and roam the island on our own for about 2.5 hours. We love going here to shop, swim, and just be part of this island for a bit. We rented a golf cart to drive around the island from a vendor on the street near the dock for $25 an hour. I definitely suggest renting for longer than an hour if you rent one. We rented an electric one and it worked just fine. After exploring the island we got back on the boat and sailed back over to Cancun (couple of tequila shots on the way back).
Pros:
1) Full day trip with everything included except for spending money on the island and tips.
2) Crew was excellent. Very fun, game interactive, and most of all safety minded.
3) Food was better than I expected.
4) Open bar… But definitely not a booze cruise vibe. No issues with having kids on the boat.
Cons:
1) Wish there would have been a way to stow away items on the boat that I didn’t need on the island. But while you’re on the island they are taking another group back. Minor detail that really had no major impact on my enjoyment.
Tip: Don’t book through your resort directly. Work with the vendors that are with Cancun Adventures. You can get better prices than advertised at the resort or online.
