I wanted to say thank you to Alex and the crew on the catamaran we took snorkeling and to Isla Mujeres. It was so amazing and everyone was so great. The snorkeling was beautiful and Alex did a great job hanging with those who needed help. He also provided us information as we were snorkeling so we knew what we were looking at.
He and the crew made the trip exciting and entertaining. On our way back from Isla Mujeres they flew the sails and it was absolutely amazing!!!!!
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a great adventure with a great crew.

We had a lot of fun on the catamaran trip over to Isla Mujeres from the Marina in Playa Mujeres. Drinks were definitely flowing! The guide Manuel (Manu) had a great energy and positive attitude – and impressed with his multiple languages and knowledge of the area. We stopped twice on the way, once for snorkeling and then for just a 20 min swim closer to shore. I personally could have done without the second stop but a few people got off the boat for a swim. Once we docked Manu led several of us around downtown and to Playa Norte. We were happy to leave our resort for the day and visit the island!

We were on Catamaran 5 and Terry and the whole crew were excellent! They took great care of us, always checking to make sure we had everything we need, and they were excellent tour guides. Paulina took excellent pictures of us. Terry gave a ton of really helpful information and was extra kind to us the whole time. I’d love to do this again with him and his crew!

We decided to go on this tour to Isla Mujeres on our second last day in Mexico and it was well worth it. We booked it through AMStar and they promptly picked us up at the resort where we were staying near Puerto Morelos. It was a 45 min drive in an air conditioned van, and the driver gave us some fruits and snacks.
Upon arriving at the docks, we were told our group will be going on catamaran 7. We were advised to start putting on sun screen before boarding as it gets slippery once we are on board. Our host Marlen kept us informed of the agenda and introduced us to the small crew, and also asked if we had any kind of allergies… I mentioned that I’m vegetarian, and I’m always very grateful when we are catered for! There was an open bar, and one of the crew members was always making the rounds asking if we needed more drinks.
Our first stop was a 15 min snorkelling where the catamaran dropped us off, and we would then swim towards the boat again in a new position. The water current at the start was a bit strong, and a few people opted not to swim. But after a few minutes, it does get easier. We swam towards an under water museum. I didn’t know this was part of the tour, and was very happily surprised. There were lots of fish indeed, but it was a big surprise to see sculptures underwater, very cool!
Second stop was near Playa Norte at Isla Mujeres… the water was incredibly clear and warm! Afterwards, we had 2.5 hrs to wander around the island. Our host Marlen took us for a free walking tour that lasted about 30 mins into the centre of the town and church, and gave us a very nice history of the place. There were golf carts that you can hire to go around the island, but we just walked around and had a nice lunch at one of the cafe.
This is a really awesome tour and would highly recommend it!

Angel and the rest of the crew were wonderful. It was a beautiful ride in the boat, great food for lunch, drinks, snorkeling, swimming, walking and exploring the island, relaxing. Everything was wonderful. You have plenty of time to enjoy Isla, so bring g shoes to walk around in or sunscreen for all the beaches.
