Beatiful afternoon on pleasant catamaran. Great snorkeling, fantastic sailors and very refreshing experience over all. Sad and devastating is to see that the corals are gone. There is nothing left, but the dust. Only the fish, colourful and abounding is still there changing your mind wondering about the end of our ecosystem.

I highly recommend! Our guide Terry was excellent and the crew were awesome! Very concerned with everyone being happy and having fun! Nicely planned out, snorkeling, swimming, shopping, sailing, and a nice prepared lunch and unlimited drinks alcoholic and non-alcoholic! We were in Cancun on our honeymoon and wanted something different to do so we took this half day trip, very glad we did!

We chose Cancun Adventures Isla Mujeres Luxury sailing for safety purposes because it was offered by Air Canada as an excursion.
It last approx. 5 hours total from the time you leave your hotel and when you come back. Depending where you are.
The boats are very well maintained and we had enough room to sit. Nobody really stay standing-up. The crew is also very informative and their directives were clear.
You sail for about 30 minutes, then you snorkel for about 30 minutes, you sail for another 15 minutes until you reach Isla Mujeres pier.
Then you only have 2 hours on the Island and there’s so much to do for 2 hours.
If you take this excursion don’t plan for 2 or 3 activities you won’t make it.
Just go for the beach OR go for the island cart tour.
If you take the island cart tour, reserve for 2 hours even though you’ll come back before.
Overall great experience. But next time i’ll take a cab and the Ultramar Ferry.

The “luxury” tour cost over $100. The boat was a catamaran and the sea was very choppy: everything and everyone got soaked. And after you arrive at the island they cruise around the docs (??? To make the trip longer??) I don’t drink, I don’t need your alcohol! They fed us lunch at 9:30 (??) If you want to do anything on Isla Mujeres you pay more.

We booked via AmstarDMC and the guy was clear that it would be about 25-30 people on the boat, which is what we had ultimately. It was windy and a little rough, so we chose not to snorkel, but some people did. The crew was very attentive the entire time and gave us a lot of good information about the island before we got there. If you want to explore the island, the 2-2.5 hours isn’t enough time. Our crew was on Catamaran #5 with Jorge as our guide. We thought he was excellent, funny and kept it light. We did the afternoon tour so we could see the sunset (which we saw on the island based on the time). The trip back to Cancun was in the dark, but it was nice out and we got to see the stars.
