My favorite part of the trip was snorkeling and the gyuide, Gabriel. The driver, Jesus, and the photographer, Wendy, we’re wonderful as well.

This is the first excursion that I have actually booked through tripadvisor. I want to point out to people that we did not receive email instructions with pick uptime etc. I panicked a little bit because we booked the night before. The instructions were in the tripadvisor messages section. Maybe everyone is like “Thanks Capt. obvious,” but I thought I’d include 🙂 From Cancun the drive takes approximately 2 hours (you pick up additional guests from different cities). Claudia was our guide and Carlos our driver. Claudia was fun, an informative guide and generally awesome! I will note that for the snorkeling tour they make you keep your life vest on most of the time. My sister and I are experienced scuba and free-divers so this was uncomfortable and frustrating. Toward the end of our snorkeling a sea turtle and several rays came to the reef. She allowed us to remove our jackets to dive down and get some photographs with them. I understand a company’s liability, but we do sign a waiver…. I wish they had to option to rent a wet suit. The guides all had them on and in Jan the water is a bit chilly. The cenote tour was awesome! I wish they had given us the option to bring our snorkel masks. I’ve done a cenote snorkel tour before and there is so much to see underwater! The lunch was great and the hosts so friendly. The photos package was reasonably priced and I gladly purchased them. All in all this tour is well-run and a great value! FYI from Cancun we were gone exactly 12 hours!

First off, me and my boyfriend had an amazing experience with ocean tours on the three in one excursion which included snorkeling in the second largest coral reef in the world, visiting the tulum ruins with great history lesson and facts (you learn so much and get to take amazing pictures of the sites especially since the blue ocean is right next to the ruins and just over all the scenery everywhere you look was gorgeous. Lastly we visited the cenotes and had an amazing time swimming in the caves and learning about how the Mayans used the cenotes to get rid of bad vibes!! The part that made our tour specifically the best was the tour guide, Diana, who always kept good conversation going and was super friendly and knowledgeable about everything that we saw, she explained interesting facts about everything we saw and was truly the most pleasant person to be our tour guide. me and my boyfriend would definitely go back to ocean tours and specifically request her on the whale shark tour she explained was coming up in the more summer months! Our group was only 8 people and I also believe that is why everything went so smoothly. Our driver Paulina was AMAZING as well. She was very kind to me and my boyfriend and talked to us after we ate some delicious Mayan food that the tour provided as well! Lastly I have to give a shout out to Fer! He is such an amazing photographer and was so kind always recommending good poses and backgrounds to take the best pictures. He seriously took the best photos! me and my boyfriend loved them and had to buy their package. There is a one year warranty on the photos so if you lose them they will email you them again. Overall I give this experience a 10/10 and would highly recommend ocean tours and hope to be back soon and see all the people I mentioned again on my next tour!!!

Long day – but very fun experience! Very unique cenote adventure – probably rate it as one if our most fun adventures for sure! Mariano was very informative at all if the stops. Bummer our weather didn’t cooperate but he had us snorkel at Yal Ku instead of ocean – was incredible. Much better than we thought possible – tons of fish, very clear and warm water.

The van that came to pick us up at the hotel was nice, spacious and clean. The tour guide was wonderful. He gets 5 stars. The lunch was mediocre. Not tasty, just bland. Cenote was the best part. Tulum and the snorkeling seemed a little rush.
However at the end, we didn’t get the same van to take us back to the hotel. We got the worst van possible; cracked windows, broken seats, dirty, about one foot of space between seats and over-crowded. Overall rundown, horrible condition that I felt insulted that we got put in it. I took the photos of the van which I will be sharing online. Honestly that’s not acceptable.
