Had great fun on this trip. Reached Tulum early and was glad that we did as it was already hot. The kids enjoyed the snorkeling the most on the trip. The cenote was an awesome experience as well. Our guides Diana, Angel and Toni were the best. We lost a cell phone in Tulum and they called a bunch of folks to retrieve it for us and have it delivered to us at the cenote. Just glad we had them with us.

My fiancé and I had such an amazing time on this excursion. Our total group size was 8, plus Juan, our guide, Diomar, our driver, and Ismael, the photographer. All 3 were excellent, especially Juan. He was full of energy and information (we were constantly impressed by his knowledge of Mexico , the locations, nature, history, and random tidbits). He was also extremely attentive to all the various needs of the group (language, fitness, experience, etc) thought the entire day.
We opted for the hotel pickup, which was smooth and punctual with clear communication.
Our first stop was to see the Tulum ruins, where an archaeologist joined our group to guide us through, regaling us with the history of the place. He was super knowledgeable and added so much more to the tour. While interesting, it was hot and we were eager to get on to the other 2 parts, so we were happy that that part only lasted about 45mins.
Second was snorkeling (!!), and spoiler alert, we saw 4 turtles!!!!! 🙂 🙂 It was just a quick jaunt from the ruins and felt awesome to cool off after the ruins. The reef was just a quick boat ride out from the beach and though the visibility wasn’t great (just due to the day) we still saw lots of cool sea-life.
Last was Cenotes, which was by far our favorite of the 3. Staying in our bathing suits , we hopped in the van and headed out. During the ride, Juan clearly outlined the game plan and filled us in on what they are, how they formed, the plants and fauna to expect, and numerous other interesting details – we were constantly impressed by Juan’s knowledge…of everything. After a short hike we reached the Cenote and started down. And..wow… how spectacular. We go through the underground caverns and then, our favorite, swim off and on through the our trek through the cave. Neither pictures, nor words, do it justice. 40mins or so later and we are through! Then onto a taco feast as our reward.
Such an excellent experience- we will remember this for years 🙂

We had a lovely day with our guides JP and Andy, Jean-Louis our driver and Amanda the photographer.
They were very well organised and super friendly.
We started the day with a 30 min drive from our apartment in Tulum to Akumel where we snorkeled in beautiful clear waters. We then went on to Cenote Xtun where we experienced a magical trip down into the caves to swim in the fresh water and see some amazing stalagmites and stalactites. The initial jump in was really refreshing after the 30°c outside.
Then, after a really tasty lunch we went in to the Tulum Mayan ruins, where a local guide gave us a tour of the site.
It was a long day in the heat, and our 12 year old daughter was exhausted by the end, but we all really enjoyed it.
Highly recommended.

This was such an amazing day! We loved every part, but mostly we loved our guide Muriel and driver Diego! Muriel was so thoughtful and knowledgeable about Mayan culture, the fascinating ecology, and shared her warm and funny personality with us all! The tour was well crafted, included a delicious lunch! They picked us up at our hotel, and dropped us right back at our door. You will be so glad you booked this tour! We will try another if we are ever lucky enough to be back!!!

We had a fantastic time! Our tour guide, Arturo, was awesome! The day started rainy- but he had umbryfor all of us and touring the ruins was still fun. We saw sea turtles, a stingray and lots of fish while snorkeling… and the highlight was probably swimming through the cenotes! A very memorable day for our group- ranging from ages 3-70! Thank you for the adventure!
