This is a MUST when visiting the Cancun area! Rafa and Ivan are excellent tour guides and bring good vibes to the experience. The snorkeling area is amazing…you will see a lot of sea turtles and huge stingrays! The cenote was our favorite part for sure; it’s beautiful and so refreshing after walking in the sun. It’s worth getting the picture package if your photographer is Tony…excellent quality of the photographs. This tour is incredibly fun but also exhausting…recommended if you have high-energy and stamina. I wouldn’t recommend it for kids younger than 10 or people with health issues. I would definitely do it all over again if given the opportunity!

The guide made the experience so much more fun. Super helpful, great energy. The whole experience was organized so nicely. Always recommend Ocean Tours Mexico

Everything was fantastic! The cenote was my favorite! Snorkeling was great, too, but didn’t feel long enough. My only complaint is the estimated time frame was way longer than what was publicized. 12 hours is a bit more than 7.

My husband and I had THE BEST adventures today with our small group and tour guide Nora! This three in one combo is SO worth it. The tour at the tulip ruin was great and they made sure to keep you in the shade as much as possible! Everything went very smoothly and the trip moved along quickly! Lunch buffet was great with tacos! Snorkeling was fantastic! We got dropped off right over the reef and saw many fish, some stingrays and even a turtle! It swam right under us! Something we will remember forever! The cenote caves were absolutely stunning! We probably loved the cave the most because it was so incredible. You get to go deep into the caves and swim around. It is so worth it especially for the price. We felt very safe and comfortable the entire time. They picked us up promptly at our hotel at 7 and we arrived back around 6pm. Awesome and memorable day for sure!

My friend and I went on the 3-in-1 Discovery Combo Tours: Tulum Ruins, Reef Snorkeling Plus Cenote/Caves and it was truly an amazing experience.
I have to admit, I am not an early bird. This tour starts early! However, after the day was over, I would set my alarm clock over and over early if what was to come was an experience this incredible.
The ruins were very interesting and beautiful to see, and the history of the Mayan people and their customs were intriguing (and a bit disturbing at times…human sacrifice? No thanks! LOL). It was cool to learn about the customs of these ancient people and see where and how they established residency. During the ruin tours, it was hot, but our tour guide–Raul Jaimes– provided us with umbrellas to help shield us from the heat. I didn’t see any other tour groups on the site with umbrellas, so this was a thoughtful addition on Raul / Trip Advisor staff’s part (the umbrella also served multifunctionally, as it rained at one point, so we used it to shield us from both the rain and the sun 😄).
The snorkeling was a blast! From the ruins, we took a bus over to a nearby beach and Raul provided us with life jackets and snorkeling gear and directed us in the proper way to wear the gear etc. (I have experience snorkeling and am a good swimmer, but this was very helpful to the group as many people were first-time snorkelers). Then we took a motorboat out and dove in the ocean to snorkel! We saw so many interesting things, including anemones and clownfish (like the sea creatures in Finding Nemo), sting rays (don’t worry; they stayed below us and didn’t come up to bother anyone lol) and even spotted a sea turtle that we got to swim along! Very much a cool time and loved seeing the sea creatures… especially the cute sea turtle!
The cave by far was I think the best part of the trip for me. I hadn’t been in a cave since I was in elementary school on a field trip, so this was so awesome to me…seeing the stalactites, stalagmites… swimming through the water (cold at first, but helps with circulation) and learning so much about history and cultural and spiritual traditions of the people who used to navigate through caves. We even got to jump off a cliff in the cave, into the water! (not mandatory but so fun, and Raul made sure everyone who participated was safe).
This tour was truly so memorable for my friend and I, and I would recommend it to everyone who visits Cancun/Tulum and surrounding (the bus picked us up in Cancun and drove us out to Tulum; for this tour, there are pick-ups in different locations in the area, which makes it nice and safe when transporting).
There was also a photographer who takes pictures at each of the three stops (the photographer we had was Francisco/Frank) and the fee if you want to purchase pictures is extremely reasonable, for anyone who wants them. The pictures Francisco took were so good, so me and my friend purchased them. It is great to have these memories, especially the underwater and cave ones that I wasn’t able to take on my own (didn’t have underwater camera and didn’t want to take my phone in a cave and potentially lose it or drop in water lol).
Major props to Raul Jaimes, our tour guide. He was very informative and good energy and spirit. Reads people well and knows how to bring fun and light heartedness to the whole day’s experience and calm any nerves if anyone is nervous about anything. He also speaks four languages (English, Spanish, French and Italian) so this is extremely useful for multicultural groups (I speak 3 of the same languages as him, so it was cool to practice my French and Italian with Raul). Definitely see if you can request him as your tour guide as he is the best.
I would do this tour again in a heartbeat. Thanks again Raul and Trip Advisor.. you rock!!
