Amazing place , can’t wait to return, one of the most beautiful and awesome parks ever visited, you have to plan two day to visits the full place, don’t miss the nocturnal show , is something out of this world

We were told on the bus there that the day we were attending was due to be busy (7000-8000 people) and upon arrival it did seem rather busy. As this is a very popular tourist attraction, we didn’t expect anything otherwise. Once we’d got through the entry area after 10 minutes or so, we actually didn’t find any of the park to be that busy though.
We started off the day with one of the river swims and it was such an incredible experience. I’d read online the water was really cold but in mid April it was perfect temperature. The swim itself took about 40 minutes and we loved the variation of caves and outside areas. Such a memorable experience. For whatever reason, we didn’t find the rivers that busy until the very end. At most we probably saw 8-10 other people in there at a time.
After this we grabbed some food at the international buffet which was good, although it seems a little unfair that all the local birds get to eat for free 😉
We didn’t book any extras so spent the rest of the day walking around the different areas, all of which were absolutely beautiful. In particular the cemetery, dolphins, turtles and aquarium areas were our favourite. We were hoping to do the aviary but I have a fear of heights and you had to cross a bridge to finish the tour. I did notice that there was another way to access the other side but it was blocked by a small gate saying it was only for staff only but I didn’t understand why and was half tempted to just jump over.
The evening show was brilliant with the first half in particular standing out. the first half focuses more on the older Mexican history which I personally find really interesting. The second half of the show is a tour around different Mexican states which was good fun but didn’t have the same impact as the the first.
I didn’t think the food was any more over priced that any other tourist attraction.

It was a fun park to spend a few hours with a variety of activities. I enjoyed the river swim and show.

I was blown away with Xcaret Park. There is so much to see and do. There are additional activities you can sign up for as well. We swam with the sting rays and did the wine tasting. The Mexican Spectacular show at the end is a must see.

very price for what you get. it’s better to be on a regular beach and have fun. 164$ is way too much when the only nice adventure that include in the price is the river.
pluses: clean and was not too crowded.
